The Real-World Limits You’ll Notice by Day Two

• Don’t use it for navigation menus or interface labels. Its connected forms blur at small sizes.
• Avoid all-caps settings unless you’re designing a monogram or initial lockup. Uppercase letters lack the same rhythmic flow and feel slightly stiff beside lowercase.
• It doesn’t pair well with other script fonts—or even most handwritten fonts. The voice gets muddy. Stick to strong contrasts: a crisp sans serif (like Poppins or Manrope), a warm serif (Cormorant Garamond, regular weight), or even a restrained display font with geometric clarity.
• On low-res screens or compressed JPEGs, fine details soften. Always preview exports at actual size—not zoomed-in previews.

1. Test it in pure black on pure white—and then reverse it. Some script fonts collapse in negative space. Brigan holds structure, but check terminals at 16pt.

3. Compare uppercase vs. lowercase usage side-by-side. Brigan’s lowercase has more character; uppercase works best as accents or initials—not full words.
